No a new service type is not required to adopt the ValConnect Upload Portal solution. The API Protocol and Addendum Special Instructions outline how the valuer is to determine what ‘alternative approaches’ may be adopted in lieu of an inspection for a PropertyPRO valuation instruction. The valuer must comply with the requirements under the API Protocol and Addendum Special Instructions, but may otherwise submit the PropertyPRO report in the usual way.
